Summer is here and my brain cells and I are on vacation. I’m heading to Provence to experience the face2face exhibition at the 6th Annual Festival a-part, a contemporary art festival founded in 2010 by curator and collector Leila Voight. Forty-three renowned international artists, including work by artist Ric Kokotovich will come together from July 17th to August 29th, in towns and villages in the magical Alpilles including Les Baux de Provence, Le Paradou, Saint Etienne du Grès and Saint Rémy de Provence.
Each summer, the festival is attended by more than 120 000 people, and I’m looking forward to catching up to the inimitable Ms. Voight for my own face2face exchange with this passionate impressario. Vive la festival a-part!
