About Alison Wattie

In October 2012, I drove 6,800 kms with my artist husband, Ric Kokotovich (www.rickokotovich.com), and my dog Iggy, to spend 6 months in our adopted city of Merida. Leaving the fast paced world of Calgary behind, I packed my books, art and entrepreneurial spirit, and set off to explore what lay beyond the borders that had become my life. In October 2013 we hit the road south again, hoping to find out what ‘living the dream’ really means. This is my adventure.

    what beautiful photo’s…Rick said you have an nice little camera that takes great shots?what is it?Hoping you are happy back in Mexico…we came home to snow..NOt ready for this…but will have to suck it up!ha! love you guys and miss you dropping by…

      Can you believe I took this with my (unabashed Apple plug here) iPhone? Glad you had a great trip and that all is well with Charlotte. Ric is there Dec 1-13 so he will be inviting himself for dinner – guaranteed! xo
